Supplies

Canvas panel, acrylic paints, brushes, acrylic gel medium, flat-back gems, and gold paint.

Step by step

  1. Lightly sketch a wide pumpkin with curved sections and a short stem.
  2. Paint the sections in cream, terracotta, and sage, leaving a few soft gaps.
  3. Add pale blue accents and loose curved strokes. Let the paint dry.
  4. Arrange flat-back gems in small clusters, leaving painted areas visible.
  5. Secure each gem with acrylic gel medium. Let it dry according to its directions.
  6. Add gold-painted vines and highlights. Let everything dry fully.

Leave room for the brushwork. Open the illustrated guide above to save it for your next creative afternoon.
